Plans To Go

Hello I want to ask about your house plans.

My husband, who is 83, is blind and I am wheel-chair bound.
And I have an oxygen tank which follows me around.

We want something small which we can build out-of-pocket so we don't have to get a mortgage and we want to do it ourselves (maybe you could show us how ?) .

We have three, no, four kids and another one on the way ! and each one wants it's own room - plus we have my mom and dad and my husband's grandma, and her twelve cats, living with us and the dogs. Oh, and my son's girlfriend who is also pregnant ! But none of them can help.

Also I am claustrophobic, so the rooms need to to be kinda big, plus we have a lot of furniture.

We have a lot of friends which just drop by, so I want a big living room and a dining room since we like this couple at church and we want to have them over and they have a lot of kids too.

The kitchen should be open and airy with plenty of cabinet space and a big store room off it.
I want a fireplace in the master bedroom and big walkin closets.

In the master bathroom I want double sinks,  two private toilet stalls,  a walk in shower,  my jucuzzi  and a heat sauna.
And I like that shiny stone -  what's that stuff called ? You know it comes in big squares and you stick it to the wall.

I have some old windows which I found in a dumpster the same day I found Tiny - he is one of our Great Danes - and I want to use them because they are special to me.

They aren't in very good shape though, some of the glass is broken and the wood is falling apart, but we can probably make them work somewhere.

I think we can scrounge some doors and roofing stuff too.
My uncle has some sheet metal he said we could have and we have a pile of old wood out back we can use.

Can't we skip building a base and just put it right on the ground ?
That way we can save some money.

I was thinking maybe around 739 square feet or 821 (those are my special numbers) and we want to start building right away - as soon as the snow lets up - so we need the plans right away.

Can you build it for us or show us how ?
I get winded pretty easy these day, but I learn pretty quick.
Except I forget stuff pretty quick too.

I will probably want to see the plans first and maybe make some changes.
So, how much is this going to cost and how soon can you have the plans ready ?

I have a change jar which I been putting my pennies in, hope that's enough.
We can feed you too if  you don't mind sitting on the old crate out back.

You won't have no trouble finding us neither, we live right up the third drive, well, it ain't really a drive, it's kind of a gully, just past the big Cottonwood tree.
Not the live one the other one.

Don't try to come up it if water's running in it.

Watch out for the neighbors kids, they ain't too bright and if you run over one of them I'll never hear the end of it.

Sometimes they throw rocks at cars.
And watch out for the dogs cause they bite - but not as bad as the kids.

Better lock your car I think someone snatched one of my kids, but its hard to tell cause sometimes they don't all come in at night.

Thank you so much and God bless you.
